Image: tm4c129_freertos_codecomposer.out Target: TM4C129 demo board. Toolchain: Code Composer Studio 5.4.0 Product: embDUAL, embHTTP, embFTP, embTelnet O/S: FreeRTOS V7.3.0 Description: This is a dual-stack port of NicheStack 4.01 to a DK-TM4C129X Connected Development Kit (snowflake) demo board. The demo consists of the HTTP Server FTP Server, and Telnet Server. The demo is time-limited to 60 minutes. The IP address is obtained from a DHCP server or by AutoIPv4 and is displayed on the serial console at boot time. Telnet clients can log in as ("guest", "guest") and submit CLI commands. Web browsers can log in as http://<ip address> and display product information, perform forms processing, file uploads, and execute CLI commands. FTP clients can log in as ("guest", "guest") and upload or download ASCII or binary files from the VFS file system. The same files can be transfered with TFTP. The Console is available for entering CLI commands; 115200, 8, 1, no parity, no flowcontrol. To download the image to the target, open a tm4c129 project (create if needed) select Run->Load->Load image, select tm4c129_freertos_codecomposer.out, OK. The image will be downloaded and run next time the board is reset (automatically at the end of download).
The demonstration software will execute for 60 minutes, at the end of which the software will stop. It can be restarted by resetting the hardware.
The demo software allows users to test the following network protocols: TCP, IPv6, IPv4, HTTP, Telnet, and Ping. The NicheTool CLI and Menu System can be used to display statistics and configuration information. To get started, type "help" or "?" at the NicheTool prompt.
The HTTP Server can be accessed from a Web Browser application by setting the URL in the Browser to the IP address of the NicheStack software. The HTML demo is provided in source code form to licensees of the embHTTP product. It demonstrates presentation of dynamic data, form processing and a remote CLI.
The Telnet Server can be accessed from a Telnet Client application. The user can login with the username "guest" and the password "guest". After logging in, the user is presented with the NicheTool command prompt. NicheTool commands can be entered to display various NicheStack statistics and configuration information.
