SAN JOSE, CA – September 28, 2006 -- InterNiche Technologies today announced a licensing agreement with NXP Semiconductors under which NXP will provide a version of InterNiche's NicheLite™ TCP/IP stack to NXP's LPC customers at no cost. Under the agreement NXP's LPC customers have unlimited rights to manufacture products using NicheLite TCP/IP for LPC™ microprocessors and InterNiche will offer optional technical support and add on modules for the basic NicheLite for LPC stack. InterNiche's optional protocol modules have been developed from the ground up to address the needs of low cost embedded systems. The result is a modular solution that is functionally comprehensive, requiring minimal system and memory requirements, and is tuned for both portability and performance.
