Campbell, CA – March 07, 2006 – InterNiche Technologies, the specialist provider of software and expertise for device networking, today announced enhanced support for Philips ARM LPC family of microcontrollers with a prepackaged port of NicheStack TCP/IP for the LPC 2294 on a Phytec PCM-023 evaluation board. Using InterNiche's profiling technology, the product measures and presents the percentage of CPU cycles required to process each layer of TCP/IP and application software, allowing the developer to determine available microcontroller head room. The port includes FTP, Telnet and an HTTP Sever running on NicheStack and an operating system from FreeRTOS.com. The demonstration port can be downloaded from http://www.iniche.com/arm.php.
All InterNiche software modules either connect to the IP layer or sockets, which means no additional porting is necessary to add management, security, or routing modules. The addition of this port extends InterNiche coverage for Philips Microcontroller devices from the LPC 2106 through the LPC 2294.
