InterNiche Network Integration Kit for Coldfire 5282EVB
This is the readme file to download and evaluate a binary demo of
Interniche NicheStack TCP/IP Stack, ChronOS RTOS, Telnet Server,
WebServer, HTML Demo and FTP Server on the Motorola M5282EVB
Coldfire Evaluation Board using the Metrowerks CodeWarrior Tools
for the ColdFire target.
As per MetroWerks Quick Start Guide Instructions, the board needs
to be connected to the PC running the CodeWarrior toolset using
the PE Mirco BDM interface cable.
1. Copy the entire Demo directory onto your Local Hard Disk before
you evaluate the demo. This is necessary since the MetroWerks
CodeWarrior IDE will create some temporary files and directories
on your Hard Disk inside this Demo directory.
2. In the Demo directory you will find a MetroWerks Project IDE file
called webport.mcp. Double click on this to open the project.
3. Click on the RUN button (or enter Ctrl + F5, or in the pull down
menu select "Project" -> "Run") to start downloading the code. This
downloads the code and starts executing the demo.
4. The Demo would have started executing by now and you will see
NO further messages on the debugger console window.
IP Address of the station is configured to 10.0.0.105.
The subnet mask is configured to 255.0.0.0 and the gateway
to 10.0.0.1
So if you have another PC on the network that is confgured
with a similar subnet mask and with a 10.0.0.X IP Address
and a 255.0.0.0 subnet mask, you should be able to:
a.) Browse the webserver at http://10.0.0.105
For Authenticated webpages enter the username "guest"
and password "guest"
b.) Telnet into the Telnet server with username "guest"
and password "guest"
c.) FTP into the FTP Server with username "guest"
and password "guest"
d.) To view the Dynamic Operation of NicheStack and the various
Applications using the HTML Demo and Profiler at http://10.0.0.105
select the "Network Data" link and -> "CPU Profile" button.
IMPORTANT: Please note that this executable is a time limited demo and
will shut itself off after 1 hr.

Trouble Shooting
*************************************************************************
If you are unable to access the demo the please check the following:
1. That the entire Demo directory has been copied over to your Hard Disk.
And the webport.mcp Project IDE file that your are executing is the one
on your Hard Disk.
2. That the ethernet cable connection to your PC is fine.
3. Please make sure that your PC configuration is as follows:
IP Address : 10.0.0.x
Subnet Mask: 255.0.0.0
Gateway : 0.0.0.0
