InterNiche Network Integration Kit for ARM's Integrator/CP: 946E-S
This is the readme file to download and evaluate a binary demo of
Interniche NicheStack TCP/IP Stack, ChronOS RTOS, Telnet Server,
WebServer, HTML Demo and FTP Server on the Advanced RISC Machines'
ARM Integrator CP (Compact Platform) Evaluation Board using
Advanced RISC Machines' ARM Developer Suite, v1.1 and
MultiICE debugging interface.
Download the resulting webport.axf to the AT91EB55 board using any of
the following debuggers
- ARM AXD debugger (AXD)
- ARM RealView Debugger (RVD) v1.6.1
a) Connect the board to your local Ethernet.
b) Turn the board on
- power it on
- press the circular white "power" button on the board
- "CP" gets displayed and we are ready to use the board
c) Start the ARM Multi-ICE server.
d) Start the ARM AXD debugger.
e) Select System Views|Debugger Internals from the menu.
f) Set "$top_of_memory" to 0x8FFFFFFF.
For RVD, use the command "setreg @TOP_OF_MEMORY=0x8FFFFFFF".
h) Select File|Load Image from the menu.
i) Locate the built webport.axf and open it.
j) Press F5 twice to start execution (need to press it only once for RVD).
The IP Address of the station is configured to 10.0.0.106.
The subnet mask is configured to 255.0.0.0 and the gateway
to 10.0.0.1
So if you have another PC on the network that is confgured
with a similar subnet mask and with a 10.0.0.X IP Address
and a 255.0.0.0 subnet mask, you should be able to:
a.) Browse the webserver at http://10.0.0.106
For Authenticated webpages enter the username "guest"
and password "guest"
b.) Telnet into the Telnet server with username "guest"
and password "guest"
c.) FTP into the FTP Server with username "guest"
and password "guest"
d.) To view the Dynamic Operation of NicheStack and the various
Applications using the HTML Demo and Profiler at http://10.0.0.106
select the "Network Data" link and -> "CPU Profile" button.
IMPORTANT: Please note that this executable is a time limited demo and
will shut itself off after 1 hr.

Trouble Shooting
*************************************************************************
If you are unable to access the demo the please check the following:
1. That you have set "$top_of_memory" to 0x8FFFFFFF using the
System Views|Debugger Internals option from the menu.
2. That the ethernet cable connection to your PC is fine.
3. Please make sure that your PC configuration is as follows:
IP Address : 10.0.0.x
Subnet Mask: 255.0.0.0
Gateway : 0.0.0.0
